Walk Program Lunch
Meet at 10:00am- River Garden, Main St
This year, our annual Walk For Life will begin at the River Garden on Main Street in Brattleboro. This is a change in location for us, and we are excited about the new possibilities this space will offer, including more and better seating, a pleasant and comfortable location that wont be up in the air due to the ever-present Vermont threat of bad weather, and easy access bathrooms. The River Garden also opens up onto a deck overlooking the Connecticut River in the back, so people can enjoy the outdoors if the day is nice.
Program
The Walk will begin at 10am, and will include a short program of song and speakers, the walk itself, lunch, and the new raffle- see below for a list of items- that was started last year, and was such a success. Individual donors who donate to a walker now receive a raffle ticket in return, with many great prizes!
PLEDGE SHEETS are availble to download.
The Walk is a great day of fun and food, companionship and remembrance. We celebrate life even as we remember those who have passed, and this year we are creating a more interactive event that you will all enjoy.
As a way of saying Thank You to the community for their support over the last 20 years, the AIDS Project is giving donors to the Walk for Life a chance to win many wonderful prizes.
