Who are we?

We are men in and around Windham County, Vermont. We may identify as gay, bisexual, queer, or questioning. Our love/desire for other men brings us together for community, support, and fun times. Together, we are the Men's Program. We work to make our communities stronger, happier and healthier.

What do we do?

We build communities of gay and bisexual men. Meet us at our social events and workshops. Sign up for Connections, our monthly newsletter by and for gay and bisexual men. Get involved and help build up our communities. Along the way, the Men's Program staff can answer your questions about HIV and STD's, provide HIV counseling and testing, and give you all the stuff you need for hot, safer sex.

  • Social Events- Potlucks, Movie Nights, Game Nights and More! Click here for our upcoming events.
  • Workshops- Want to meet other guys and hear how they are dealing with dating, sex, and relationships? Email Howie at men@sover.net to find out about our next workshop.
  • Newsletter- By and for gay and bisexual men. News, events and more. We call it Connections and it's free! You can have it mailed to you in an anonymous envelope, or we can e-mail you a link so that you can download it to your computer. Click here to submit your thoughts, poems, or artwork to our next newsletter. View the current Newsletter...
  • HIV Counseling and Testing- It's free and anonymous. We use painless OraSure, an oral HIV test that uses a small swab inserted between your gum and cheek. Appointments are made by appointment and can even be done in your own home. As effective as a blood test, Orasure is convenient, and the results are available in two weeks. Call Alex or Howie at 802 254-8263 or e-mail men@sover.net. For additional info on HIV testing click here.
  • Answer your questions about HIV/STD's- Got a question about HIV or STD's? Contact Alex or Howie at 802 254-8263 or men@sover.net. You can also check out www.vtm4m.net.
  • Provide you with all the stuff you need for hot, safer sex- We'll supply you with oodles of condoms and lube and dental dams. Come check out the selections at our office on Main Street in downtown Brattleboro. Or pick up one of our outreach packets at an event.
