NORTHAMPTON PRIDE

Date:  Saturday, May 3 Time:  12 noon Location:  March begins at Lampron Park, Northampton MA, and ends at parking lot behind Main Street NoHo Pride is always a wonderful time.  Come for the parade and stay for the vendors, exhibits and rally fun behind Main Street!  Not a Men's Program event, but lots of guys are going down to participate.

POTLUCK BRUNCH & PERENNIAL SWAP

Date:  Saturday, May 10 Time: 11am Location: Howie's in Chesterfield, NH Our first potluck brunch and perennial swap!  Bring a dish to share and a flower to swap!  Call 254-4444 for directions and more information.

BREATH WORK

Date:  Monday, May 12 Time: 6:30pm Location:  Menspace, Brattleboro VT Second workshop, by popular demand.  The first filled up so quickly, we had a waiting list.  Call 254-4444 for more information.

NEIGHBOR NIGHT

Date: Wednesday, May 14 Time: Doors open at 5pm Location: Ceilidh House, Westmoreland NH The Pub is not normally open on Wednesdays, so this is a private event for the gay community and allies.  Doors open at 5pm, DJ music begins at 7:30pm, and the pub will be open until midnight.  Not a Men’s Program event.

CORE GROUP

Date: Thursday, May 15 Time: 6pm potluck, 6:30pm discussion Location: Menspace, Brattleboro VT Help guide the Men’s Program.  Join us for a great potluck and then conversation about the program.  We always welcome new members.

SPIRITUALITY EVENING

Date:  Friday, May 16 Time:  7pm Location:  Menspace, Brattleboro VT This month we will return to our open "popcorn style" discussion format!  We are alternating this every few months with our pre-selected topics, in order to make time for both formats.  Please come with an open mind and a willingness to discuss all the various aspects of men's spirituality.

WALK FOR LIFE

Date:  Saturday, May 17 Time:  10am Location:   River Garden, Main Street, Brattleboro VT The Walk For Life is the AIDS Project’s biggest fundraiser. The Walk has a revised program and a new route this year.  If you can’t attend or walk, please consider donating to a walker!  Each donor gets a raffle ticket for wonderful prizes.  Contact Alex or Howie at 254-4444.  Call for a donation sheet to be sent to you.

CHORUS PERFORMANCES

Date:  Saturday, May 17 Time:  7:30pm Location:  Keene State College, Keene NH The New Hampshire Gay Men's Chorus will be performing in Keene on Saturday, May 17, their closest venue to our area!  Come out and support your gay chorus. Date:  Sunday, May 18 Time:  4pm Location:  Marlboro College, Marlboro VT The Brattleboro Community Chorus will be singing on May 18 at Marlboro College in the Serkin Performance Center.  Memers of our men's community sing with this chorus... come out and support them!

WANTED, A FEW GOOD MEN!

Date:  Tuesday, May 20 Time:  6pm Location:  AIDS Project office, Brattleboro VT WANTED!  A FEW GOOD MEN! To help get the newsletter out! Fold, stuff, seal, stamp, laugh.  Pizza provided! DIRECTIONS:  Take I91 to Exit 2.  Go left off the ramp onto Western Avenue.  Continue until road forks, and take the left, High Street.  Continue to Main Street.  Take a right.  Parking is available on the street, or off the very next street on the right –Elliot Street.   67 Main is across from Sam’s Department Store.

BOOK CLUB
